Located at 3468 Calkins Rd, Flint, MI 48532, Great Lakes Seafood operates as a seafood market serving Flint in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Flint with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Michigan may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–7 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Flint is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Flint follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

First visit. So disappointed. 45$ for 5 King Crab Legs that were 100% inedible. Had to throw out. Never again. Too bad because I would have been a regular customer.

Got crab legs and shrimp. The guy inside was very nice. Gave me some ice because I had a ways to go to get home.

Fresh fish side is disappointing LOL. Dried up fish, I bought 12 oysters and the owner says “you’re not eating those raw are you?” Most people do, why? He says I just wouldn’t and you’re not supposed to eat them raw. It’s because he knew they were bad.

Never again will I get the seafood boils, over talked, so much seasoning, hardly to no juice, quality could use much help. Tangy crab is 1,000% better. My kids even told me no to the food and kids eat anything!
